Training for the young Superstar DJ?
Start your journey now and take a DJ Skills course with The School Radio Initiative. Pupils will learn all the skills required to start performing their very own DJ mixes and live club sets.
Course topics include:
* DJ equipment
* Beat matching and mix drop techniques
* Scratching techniques
* How to plan a DJ set
You can learn using the following equipment: Pioneer Dj /Serato DJ Controllers
At the end of the course you will receive advise on your future progression and also gain a potential work placement on any of our partnership radio stations
Costs: £30 for a one to one intensive course which lasts 1- 2 hours and can be organised when it is mutually beneficial for student and the tutor.

RADIO PRESENTER COURSE
Start your journey now by taking an Introduction to Radio Presenting course with The School Radio Initiative.
You’ll learn how to present and produce your own radio show and by the end of the course you will have recorded your very own professional 20 minute demo.
Courses topics include:
* Broadcast equipment and Playout software
* Fader techniques
* Mic / Presenting techniques
* Link structure
* Scripting and production techniques
At the end of the course you will receive advise on your future progression and also gain a potential work placement on With one of our established radio partners.
Costs: £30 for a one to one intensive course which lasts 2hours and can be organised when it is mutually benefical for yourself and the tutor.
